One word - Integrity. If I can give Alex 100 stars I would. Alex is a true professional. Only has your interest in mind. His sister liz will never stop to have your dreams come true. Integrity, on time, great communicator, fair pricing, artist at renovation and design.

One big reason I went with A&P construction was based on his presentation , proposal & contract. Unlike most contractors, I was presented with a high standard of excellence, well written contract.

I had a  large Kitchen renovation which include taking down a wall, semi custom cabinets plus a bathroom renovation. His team were clean, ontime and trustworthy. I had no fear of  having any of Alex's team in the house.

His crew are unbelievably talented on their own. Wilson is a master carpenter, Jarve also skilled painting, Carpenter and an eye for design. Philip is a master at tiling etc.  Electrician & plumbing all professionals that work with Alex. They love what they do and the results speak for themselves.

Most importantly is Alex cares. He loves his job and the people that work with him are the same.  His team are artists at construction & renovation & architectural.

Look no more.

I recently contracted Alex and his team to open up my kitchen including installing a beam to knock down a structural wall.  From concept to design to pulling permits and getting the work done, it was a pleasure to work with this team. Alex and Elizabeth are responsive, being quick to communicate any needs or issues. If an issue ever did come up, Alex is knowledgeable and quick to come up with workable solutions. I never felt out of the loop because as they completed steps, I was kept informed of what the next few steps would be. The team worked fast, they were efficient, they were clean and quiet (my family was here the whole time and aside from having half our house out of commission, they didn't interfere with daily living.)  Our contract was followed, and Alex was flexible when I added other projects to the list. I think the team and the subcontractors did an amazing job. My taste isn't conventional, but the team understood my assignment and gave me the kitchen of my dreams. Alexander is by far the best contractor we’ve ever worked with. We first hired him to do a full remodel of our kitchen. We’ve had issues along the way (not with Alexander, with the supplier of some materials) but Alexander took care of things and limited the amount of headache that we would have. Then we moved to a new address and hired him again to finish our basement. Once again, he did a great job with his crew and we’re very happy with the results.

Alexander never charged us more for the job, regardless of eventual minor surprises that happen in any construction work. And if there was any problem he could solve by himself without having to ask us, he would do it. Anything we asked him to do, he would do without arguing or asking for instructions. He just takes care of everything with his crew, no need to say things more than once. And he does it well. By the way, his crew is very professional, they take care of details, always keep the space clean and tidy at the end of the day, no big mess like others I’ve worked with.

Alexander always stuck to his word, did the job on the time he promised, professionally done, and at the original cost we agreed on. I don’t think you can ask for more than that from a contractor. Highly recommended!
